Meet Cory

About Me

I am a Certified Full Spectrum Doula and intimacy professional based in Brooklyn, NY. I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and moved to New York City at 18 to study Musical Theatre at NYU, until switching gears to pursue a degree at NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. After obtaining my Bachelors Degree in Media & Technology, Gender & Sexuality, and Pop Culture, I worked as a sex educator, specializing in education around sexual health & pleasure, consent, non-monogamy, and kink. In addition to hosting public workshops and working with folks individually, I have also consulted on a number of creative projects and initiatives aiming to normalize narratives around sex, LGBTQIA+ issues, and alternative lifestyles including non-monogamy and BDSM.

In 2020, I started training as a Full Spectrum Doula, receiving my certification in 2021. My work as a doula expands beyond the realm of birth and into all of life’s major transitions and rites of passage including but not limited to egg-freezing and infertility, miscarriage and loss, postpartum, abortion, gender transition, and relationship transitions. My mission and purpose in this lifetime is to protect these rites of passage by offering my clients and community with information, support, and empowerment. I currently offer abortion and gender transition support on a rolling basis and birth support on a highly limited case-by-case basis.
